Definition: The splitting of a large group into equal smaller groups

Divident ÷ Divisor = Quotient
For example: 10÷ 2 = 5
+ Divident must be bigger than divisor
+ Divisor must be different from zero- Example: Alex has 15 apples, he wants to give all of them to 5 people.
How many apples that each person will be received?
--> The answer is: 15÷5=3
+ The divident here is: 15
+ The divisor here is: 5
+ The quotient her is: 3
To sum up, each person will have equally 3 apples.
