    • Proper nouns

      1. It is a specific name  for a particular  person, place  or thing
      2. Examples - John, London, Oxford university
      3. Sentence  -  John is my friend. 
    • Possessive nouns

      1. It shows ownership by adding an 's to singular nouns
      2. Examples - Jim's, women's,  lamp's
      3. Sentence -  They were able to find Jim's shoes.
    • Compound nouns

      1. It is a noun made with two or more words.
      2. Examples  - blackboard, football, breakfast, haircut, bedroom
      3. Sentence - He likes to have bananas for breakfast.
    • Collective nouns

      1. It denotes a group of people or things
      2. Examples  - Team, audience, family, crowd
      3. Sentence  -  Dia  spends more time  with her family.
    • Irregular nouns

      1. They are nouns that do not become plural by adding -s or -es.
      2. Examples - man-men, tooth-teeth, goose - geese
      3. Sentence - A group of men were walking in the park.
