PRONOUN
Personal Pronoun
- It is a substitute for the name of a person
- Examples - I, she, you, they, we, he
- Sentence - John is very intelligent. He helps me with my homework.
Possessive Pronoun
- It shows that something belongs to someone
- Examples - ours, hers, yours, mine, theirs
- Sentence - He is a friend of mine.
Reflexive Pronoun
- It is used when the subject and object of the sentence is the same
- Examples - Yourself, myself, ourselves, themselves
- Sentence - I saw myself in the mirror.
Relative Pronoun
- It links one part of a sentence to another part.
- Examples - Who, whom, whose, that, which
- Sentence - I rode the bike that my friend gave me.
