Data
- A collection of observations on a particular information is called DATA.
Mean
- It is the average value of a set of observations.
- It is calculated by dividing the sum of all observations by the number of observations.
Median
- It is the middle value of an ordered set of observations.
- It is calculated by arranging the observations in order and taking the central value
- If there are 2 central values, then Median is the average of the 2 values
Mode
- It is the observation which occurs the maximum number of times.
Frequency
- It denotes the number of times an observation occurs in a dataset.
Range
- It is the difference between the highest and the lowest observation.
