About Ohio State Test
Ohio State Tests (OST) are the 2015-16 state achievement tests of Ohio. The new assessment guides teaching that ensures student success in schools, college, career and life. It also helps gauge school performances. General Assembly has directed this transition to the new assessment for the 2015-16 academic year. Ohio Department of Education will no longer us the PARCC assessment to test college and career readiness.
The Ohio Board of Education adopted the education standards for both math and english language arts in March 2011. Several instructional teaching strategies and resources that align with the ohio’s learning standards are available on the state department of education for reference.
