| 00:51 | that has a referral code or an affiliate program , | |
| 00:54 | then you can recruit . And when you're saying , | |
| 00:56 | well , don't I have to do that in person | |
| 00:58 | . Like don't I have to direct message people or | |
| 01:00 | share it on my social media ? Yes , Those | |
| 01:02 | are forms of recruiting . However , if you are | |
| 01:05 | creating a brand , let's say that you have a | |
| 01:07 | Youtube channel and you have weekly content and in your | |
| 01:10 | content you explain the company , you give tools , | |
| 01:12 | you give strategies and then you let them know , | |
| 01:14 | hey , I'm a coach . I can also help | |
| 01:16 | you to join this company if you're interested . That | |
| 01:18 | video you filmed one month ago , two months ago | |
| 01:21 | , three years ago and the video is still bringing | |
| 01:24 | traffic in , telling them to check the description box | |
| 01:27 | for a link or for your email or to grab | |
| 01:29 | a freebie where they get on your email list and | |
| 01:31 | then it can be automated . So you have leads | |
| 01:34 | . You have people that are interested in teaching for | |
| 01:36 | the company you teach for that are coming to you | |
| 01:39 | while you snooze . Now , sometimes I would have | |
| 01:42 | videos where I didn't have access to my referrals email | |
| 01:46 | . So if they did not check the description box | |
| 01:48 | , they just use my link and waited for me | |
| 01:50 | to email . Sometimes I would not have contact with | |
| 01:52 | them . So make sure that in your video or | |
| 01:55 | in your free content or wherever you listed , you | |
| 01:57 | disclaim that you let them know . Please email me | |
| 02:00 | . Please grab this guy . So I have your | |
| 02:02 | information so that they're not left stranded without you there | |
| 02:06 | to help coach them . Now , after you do | |
| 02:07 | have people that are going through the system , Perhaps | |
| 02:09 | you already have it automated where there's a website that's | |
| 02:12 | already done . You have prerecorded videos when you first | |
| 02:14 | get started , there will be live time because you | |
| 02:17 | have to learn the application process . You have to | |
| 02:18 | learn how to coach your referrals , you have to | |
| 02:21 | learn what are they struggling with ? What are the | |
| 02:22 | big things and staying up to date on the application | |
| 02:25 | process with it , you can better help them . | |
| 02:26 | I currently do not recruit for any specific company . | |
| 02:29 | However , I have helped over 2000 teachers with my | |
| 02:32 | referral code . That's how many have used my code | |
| 02:34 | have joined the company and have used my coaching and | |
| 02:37 | my services and after doing it for seven months or | |
| 02:40 | so I would say that's how long it took me | |
| 02:42 | to have it automated to have it all set up | |
| 02:44 | . So if you are jumping into recruiting or affiliate | |
| 02:47 | marketing . So if you have an affiliate link with | |
| 02:49 | a specific online teaching company , this could be a | |
| 02:51 | really great tool and source of passive income . Okay | |
| 02:55 | , number two is another source of affiliate marketing . | |
| 02:58 | All five of these are a source of affiliate marketing | |
| 03:01 | and what that is . I should have explained it | |
| 03:03 | earlier . But let's just take a moment here to | |
| 03:04 | explain it . Affiliate marketing is when there is a | |
| 03:06 | company a product , a service that has a program | |
| 03:10 | where you can have a link that's specific for you | |
| 03:12 | . So whoever uses your link and makes a purchase | |
| 03:15 | or maybe they become a teacher , then you are | |
| 03:17 | paid a commission . I do not have to create | |
| 03:19 | a product and sell it . I do not have | |
| 03:20 | to create anything . I just have to be the | |
| 03:22 | bearer of good news and I just have to share | |
| 03:24 | . Now I would not use affiliate marketing for everything | |
| 03:27 | I would not use an affiliate link for something that | |
| 03:29 | I myself do not use and love and recommend you | |
| 03:33 | have to make sure that you have that trust with | |
| 03:35 | your audience . You have to make sure that it's | |
| 03:37 | something that you yourself would use . You don't want | |
| 03:39 | to just go out . Well this has a really | |
| 03:41 | good pay . I'm going to go market this . | |
| 03:43 | No , that is not a good way to build | |
| 03:45 | a business to build a brand . Absolutely not . | |
| 03:47 | So make sure that as you are sharing these links | |
| 03:50 | and sharing them , they are ones that you use | |
| 03:52 | yourself . Number two is sharing a link with International | |
| 03:55 | Open Academy . So International Open Academy has a program | |
| 03:59 | where you can be an affiliate . They sell courses | |
| 04:01 | and a big one that I market for is their | |
| 04:03 | T . Cell because it's accredited so many online teachers | |
| 04:06 | to work for a specific company . They have to | |
| 04:08 | have their T CELL and it has to be accredited | |
| 04:11 | . So if you are an affiliate with International Open | |
| 04:13 | Academy , then you could share that link alongside your | |
| 04:17 | referral code . So referral code and link . And | |
| 04:19 | here you need a T cell . This is what | |
| 04:22 | I recommend . It's only $19 and sometimes it's $14 | |
| 04:24 | . So you let them know so you can also | |
| 04:27 | market their other courses . They have other classes . | |
| 04:29 | I would first go through them if you're an affiliate | |
| 04:31 | and you ask for access to them to promote them | |
| 04:34 | heavily . If you have a big enough audience , | |
| 04:35 | they may give you access to those programs . Before | |
| 04:37 | you market them , go and give a little look | |
| 04:39 | , see , I'll leave all of these links below | |
| 04:40 | in the description box . So you can go and | |
| 04:42 | see if it's something that you would like to promote | |
| 04:44 | . Hi back number three , if you have a | |
| 04:50 | platform , let's say that you have a website or | |
| 04:52 | you are building a youtube channel or you're growing an | |
| 04:54 | audience on instagram or maybe a facebook group . Then | |
| 04:57 | you could be approved to be an amazon associate or | |
| 05:01 | affiliate . You can be an affiliate for amazon and | |
| 05:04 | why is this a really great tool for online teachers | |
| 05:07 | ? Because many times people will ask , what props | |
| 05:09 | do you use ? Where's your desk from ? Where | |
| 05:11 | did you get your backdrop ? Hey Sunshine shop , | |
| 05:13 | that's where we got it . Link below . So | |
| 05:16 | you might be asked these questions as you're building your | |
| 05:19 | brand . If you have an amazon affiliate link , | |
| 05:21 | you can put specific links to the props that you | |
| 05:24 | have to , any products that you have , you | |
| 05:26 | can have an entire resource list on your website or | |
| 05:29 | you can even make a storefront on amazon with what | |
| 05:32 | you use . Maybe if you have a youtube channel | |
| 05:33 | , you have your filming gear . So if someone | |
| 05:35 | makes a purchase with your link then you get a | |
| 05:37 | percentage . Now . The percentage is not very high | |
| 05:40 | . I think 8% is not even the average , | |
| 05:42 | that's pretty high for amazon , maybe it's 3% . | |
| 05:44 | Don't quote me on that with amazon , you can | |
| 05:47 | make a significant paycheck if you do have a large | |
| 05:50 | traffic load . So if I have a lot of | |
| 05:52 | people that are coming to my free content , I | |
| 05:54 | might as well be sharing an amazon link that also | |
| 05:58 | I benefit from Now keep in mind though , if | |
| 06:00 | you apply for an amazon affiliate link before you have | |
| 06:03 | a platform or have built a brand or have been | |
| 06:05 | working towards gaining an audience , you may not be | |
| 06:07 | approved or you may lose that amazon affiliate links . | |
| 06:12 | You might lose that privilege if you do not have | |
| 06:14 | people clicking on your links and making purchases . So | |
| 06:16 | this usually brings them maybe $100 a month for us | |
| 06:20 | . And that's just having it linked below our youtube | |
| 06:22 | videos and always always disclose if you are using affiliate | |
| 06:25 | links , I always will say this is an affiliate | |
| 06:27 | link just so that you are honest and disclose that | |
| 06:29 | information with those that click the link so they know | |
| 06:32 | that you make a commission off of it number four | |
| 06:35 | . This is my like I just got no lights | |

| 06:58 | signature course beyond teaching online and then after you apply | |
| 07:02 | to be an affiliate , if you're an affiliate , | |
| 07:04 | you get a commission whenever someone uses your specific link | |
| 07:07 | and makes a purchase , a lot of online courses | |
| 07:10 | will have an affiliate program . I'm an affiliate for | |
| 07:13 | Amy Porterfield . So I've taken her course decia , | |
| 07:15 | I've taken list builder society . She has been my | |
| 07:17 | mentor , my coach in learning how to build a | |
| 07:19 | brand and a business and a product in an offer | |

| 07:27 | regardless of being an affiliate . However , I partnered | |
| 07:30 | with her brand with her number partner and I'm able | |

| 07:41 | research and see if they have an affiliate program and | |
| 07:43 | you just might be surprised they make and it might | |
| 07:45 | be a really awesome and you're already sharing it . | |
| 07:47 | Number five , the last source of affiliate marketing that | |
| 07:51 | I am going to be mentioning in this video and | |
| 07:53 | a way for you to have income coming in on | |
| 07:56 | the side while you're sleeping because the link has been | |
| 07:58 | shared . It's been posted . You already made the | |
| 08:00 | content and did that . And so it can be | |
| 08:02 | making your money while you're not on the clock live | |
| 08:05 | . Okay , cool . Yes . Number five is | |
| 08:08 | you could promote products that you love . So for | |
| 08:10 | me on the business side of things , I have | |
| 08:12 | a website that I use this code job . So | |
| 08:14 | I have an affiliate link for a job . I | |
| 08:16 | use Canada for everything for my Youtube thumbnails . I | |
| 08:20 | use Canada for my website for creating content for my | |
| 08:23 | instagram for any power points that I coach with my | |
| 08:27 | students in my entire course use canvas for like the | |
| 08:30 | pdf files for just all of it . I love | |
| 08:33 | Canada . It's just so nice . And if you | |
| 08:35 | haven't heard of Canada , just check the description box | |
| 08:37 | because I have a link there for you and you're | |
| 08:38 | gonna be so happy that you heard about it if | |
| 08:40 | you haven't already . It's the best . I remember | |
| 08:43 | teaching my students about it . My first cohort , | |
| 08:45 | those that started to build a brand back and earlier | |
| 08:47 | this year in 2020 in january and they were like | |
| 08:49 | , what's Canada ? And I thought everyone knew about | |
| 08:51 | it . So I know there's some out there and | |
| 08:53 | you'll have to let me know in the comments if | |
| 08:54 | you're like , I've never heard of Canada let me | |
| 08:56 | know because it is such a nice tool to have | |
| 08:59 | . And so yes , I'm an affiliate for Canada | |
| 09:01 | . I have an affiliate link for that as well | |
| 09:02 | . So if you have a service or product that | |
| 09:05 | you use research and see if they have an affiliate | |
| 09:08 | program . So you have a little bit of homework | |
| 09:09 | because I don't want you just to take the ones | |
| 09:11 | that I mentioned and the ones that I use and | |
| 09:14 | I share because maybe you don't use those or maybe | |
| 09:17 | you don't love them . So you wouldn't promote them | |
| 09:19 | . You wouldn't share them with those that you come | |
| 09:21 | in contact with . You can also share your affiliate | |
| 09:23 | links . You can share them in direct messages if | |
| 09:26 | it's a course link and you see , hey , | |
| 09:27 | this would be a really good fit and solve a | |
| 09:29 | problem for this person I've been talking to and you | |
| 09:31 | can say , Hey , this program , I highly | |
| 09:33 | recommend if someone is able to talk to you and | |
| 09:35 | have like a previous students share that product with them | |
| 09:38 | . There's going to be a much higher conversion and | |
| 09:42 | people are going to find a good fit in that | |
| 09:43 | program because you've taken the time to not only let | |
| 09:46 | them know about the product , but to see if | |
| 09:48 | they're a good fit for it . And so you | |
| 09:50 | can help them to make that decision , not forcing | |
| 09:53 | anything . Again , never be afraid to let someone | |
| 09:55 | know . Hey , I don't think this is a | |
| 09:56 | good product for you . So with a job , | |
| 09:58 | it's a pretty expensive platform for your website for your | |
| 10:01 | email service provider for your course , it's pretty expensive | |
| 10:04 | , however , it has everything housed in one place | |
| 10:07 | . So I would recommend it for those that are | |
| 10:08 | building a course alongside their website with an email list | |
| 10:12 | . I would not recommend it for everyone . And | |
| 10:14 | if you're not doing a course , I wouldn't recommend | |
| 10:16 | it because it's mostly a course platform and you can | |
| 10:19 | have a membership on there . That's why I would | |
| 10:21 | recommend it to . You have to make sure that | |
| 10:22 | you know the product you're aware of , what are | |
| 10:24 | its features so that you can find a good fit | |
| 10:26 | for those that you come in contact with . Okay | |
