02:57 is here . So I'll show you today's lesson boards
03:00 . Here are today's lesson boards . These are the
03:02 idioms I have chosen , I have chosen 13 .
03:06 I think I just chose some that I think are
03:09 really fun and interesting and useful that I use as
03:12 well . So these are all of the idioms we're
03:15 going to talk about today uh and then I'm going
03:19 to give a short explanation and some examples of each
03:23 one , but please send me your examples in the
03:26 chat . And also I was thinking too , if
03:28 you have an idiom it's similar to the english idiom
03:32 in your language or in in a language that you
03:34 know you can send that in the chat . Those
03:36 are really fun to compare . I think . So
03:39 , let's get started . Ok . My first one
03:43 is uh which one did I say ? I was
03:46 going to be the first one ? I forgot .
03:48 I have so many . Let me see . Okay
03:50 , good . Uh Let's get to this one first
03:53 . All right . First list . We're gonna start
03:57 with something positive for today . First idiom for today
04:00 comes from baseball . A lot of idioms you'll notice
04:04 are kind of sports related idioms . So , this
04:07 will be kind of a common theme in today's lesson
04:11 , some sports related expressions . So let's take a
04:15 look at this first one . This one is knock
04:17 it out of the park to knock it out of
04:22 the park , or to knock something out of the
04:25 park means to do something extremely well to do something
04:31 extremely well to do something very , very well .
04:34 So this expression is a baseball related expression . Yeah
04:39 , to knock something means like to hit something quickly
04:42 . Usually , like we can say I knocked my
04:45 board over when I was running by . For example
04:48 , however , this knock to knock comes from baseball
04:53 , like to hit a ball to knock a baseball
04:56 out of the park means outside of the baseball park
05:00 , outside of the baseball stadium . So that's a
05:03 good thing in baseball , right ? Like that's the
05:05 best thing home run . So that means when we
05:09 use this expression we are referring to something that is
05:13 very good , very positive , very , very well
05:16 done . So for example , if you want to
05:19 compliment someone's cooking , for example , distance , knocked
05:23 it out of the park or this dinner is amazing
05:27 , you knocked it out of the park . That
05:29 means did something extremely well . So you can use
05:33 this to complement something . Okay , good . Let's
05:37 go to the next one . The next one is
05:39 a really funny expression . Uh , this next one
05:42 is back seat driver , back seat driver . Okay
05:47 , so a backseat driver . It's short , right
05:51 back seat . So imagine a car . Yeah .
05:54 So in your car there's a front seat and a
05:56 back seat . Yeah , in the front seat .
05:59 Is that where the driver sits ? Yeah , in
06:02 the back seat is the passenger . So a backseat
06:06 driver is someone who is not in charge . They're
06:10 not in control . They give lots of like advice
06:14 and instructions and you don't ask for it . It's
06:16 really like irritating . So we call that type of
06:21 person a backseat driver . So in your life you
06:25 can imagine , let's say for example , you're cooking
06:29 something and someone is in the kitchen , they're not
06:32 helping you , They're not cooking what they're telling you
06:36 what to do . I cut the onions this way
06:38 or put this in , don't use that , that's
06:41 a backseat driver in your kitchen . So you can
06:44 use this expression to talk about someone who is not
06:48 in charge or someone who is not in control of
06:51 the situation , but they give lots of unasked for
06:55 advice and lots of like instructions and you're like ,
06:59 it's so irritating . So that's called a backseat driver
07:03 . Maybe you have a backseat driver in your house
07:06 . I everybody does this sometimes everybody does this sometimes
07:11 fun expression , Okay . Oh great . Lots of
07:13 you are writing a good expressions with knock it out
07:16 of the park . Good Batna says we are here
07:18 to work on knocking it out of the park in
07:21 english great job , Maria says you knock youtube out
07:24 of the park , thank you , That's super nice
07:26 . Conwell g says I had an english test and
07:29 I knocked it out of the park . Perfect ,
07:31 great job everybody . Um Obama also says my sister
07:35 is a backseat driver , that's pretty funny . Good
07:39 example of everyone . Okay , let's go to the
07:42 next one . Okay , this next one . I
07:45 used this expression on my instagram yesterday when I told
07:49 you about today's livestream , I said uh you can
07:53 join live or watch later . I said you can
07:56 watch on youtube and then I said you know the
07:59 drill , you know the drill , This is a
08:01 very common expression and I use this expression a lot
08:05 , I think I use this a lot online in
08:09 live streams on instagram and so on , which means
08:12 you know this routine . So a drill , a
08:16 drill means like a concentrated practice . So yes ,
08:21 we have like a drill maybe you know the tool
08:24 we use for construction , but this drill is different
08:28 , this means routine or like focused practice or like
08:33 the same thing you always do in this case our
08:36 routine is joining the live stream every week . Right
08:40 many of you have a routine . So it's a
08:43 drill . Uh we can we can use it to
08:46 mean sort of like concentrated practice . So when someone
08:49 says you know the drill it means you understand the
08:53 routine or I expect you understand this exercise . So
08:58 in my example , yesterday I said join live watch
09:02 later , you can swipe up here for the youtube
09:05 blessing . You know the drill Like you already know
09:08 , I expect you already know this experience . So
09:11 this is a very good way to express that .
09:15 You know , someone else knows a routine . Mm
09:19 So this is a very common expression you can use
09:23 when you are doing something regular . Okay , I
09:27 don't see other questions so I'll continue last one for
09:30 this . Another very common one . I use this
09:33 in many different situations . This expression is to hit
09:38 a wall to hit a wall . To hit a
09:41 wall means to reach a point where it's difficult to
09:46 continue to hit a wall . So imagine like physically
09:50 you could say you're running and you meet a wall
09:54 . This doesn't mean you physically meet a wall .
09:57 Yeah , it means mentally inside your mind . So
10:00 for example , when you're studying , like maybe you've
10:04 tried to study for two hours and you get really
10:07 tired and at that point it's difficult to continue .
10:12 You can say I hit a wall with my studies
10:17 . We use with in this expression I hit a
10:19 wall with my studies or maybe when you're eating ,
10:22 you're eating something super delicious and it's so good and
10:26 you want to eat more , but you're so full
10:29 . You can say I hit a wall , I
10:31 can't eat anymore . So this is a great expression
10:35 to use in many situations where you can't continue .
10:40 It doesn't mean physically hitting a wall . I hope
10:43 , I hope you don't hit a wall physically ,
10:45 but it means , uh , the condition in your
10:48 life , a condition in your situation . Okay .
10:52 I'm looking for your questions . Uh , someone said
10:56 , where's your instagram ? My instagram I think is
10:58 in the youtube description . If not , I'll add
11:00 it there later . I hit a wall with my
11:04 admissions in university . Good example . I'm looking for
11:09 other examples . Someone on facebook is writing the same
11:12 thing . Don't flood the chat . Don't write the
11:14 same thing on facebook or Youtube please . Sunlight is
11:18 hitting the camera . Look at this beautiful ray of
11:20 sunlight . It's very bright and beautiful here today .
11:23 Okay , so that's our first list for today .
11:27 I'm going to stop there and take a quick break
11:30 and then we'll continue On a good example in Med
11:34 Kerry . Sorry , on Facebook said in terms of
11:37 economic crises , some countries hit the Wall . Good
11:41 job . Nice one . Um , Gabriel , AJ
11:46 Gabriel says , I know the drill to always turn
11:48 on these live notifications . Perfect Maria says . So
11:53 you can use hit in present and past tense .
11:55 Yes , the past tense of hit is hit .
11:58 No change their great one . Right , Okay ,
12:01 let's take a short break and then we'll go to
12:04 group two for today . So in case you missed
12:06 it . Uh , as always free stuff . Check
12:09 the link below the video on Youtube or above the
12:12 video if you're watching on facebook to get free PDFs
12:15 . But uh , here's one about sports . I
12:18 need to exercise . Everybody needs to exercise . There's
12:22 some good vocabulary here . You can use , you
12:24 can pick up whatever interest you pet related vocabulary .
12:29 Check it out . You can download all of them
12:32 for free . Uh So you need your name and
12:34 your email address and then after you log in sometimes
12:38 there's a screen with more information . If you want
12:40 to make a study plan , like make a different
12:42 study plan but go to the bottom of that page
12:45 , there's a link to get all the free stuff
12:48 . Okay if you're just joining , today's lesson is
12:51 about idioms . We're talking about idioms to use around
12:55 the house . Welcome if you are just joining live
12:58 . Uh So we're going to continue to part two
13:01 of course . Please make sure to like and share
13:03 the video so other people can watch today's lesson .
13:06 Okay ? I'll show you again today's lesson boards .
13:10 If you want to take a screenshot , get ready
13:14 . Okay , so this was group one . Now
13:16 let's go to group to group to continuing on .
13:22 All right . Great questions and examples by the way
13:25 . Fantastic . Okay , Let's go to this next
13:28 group . 1st 1 , This expression , another common
13:32 one is to wake up on the wrong side of
13:37 the bed to wake up on the wrong side of
13:40 the bed means to be in a bad mood to
13:43 be in a bad mood . So this , the
13:47 idea here to wake up on the wrong side of
13:50 the bed . I mean maybe that happens to you
13:53 . It's unrelated , but this means it's like saying
13:57 from the moment your eyes opened in the morning ,
14:01 you were not normal , like you were mentally in
14:06 a bad place . So to wake up on the
14:09 wrong side of the bed means to be in a
14:11 bad mood . So sometimes you'll hear like family members
14:15 ask someone like when I was a little kid and
14:18 I was in a bad mood , my mom asked
14:21 me , she would ask me , did you wake
14:23 up on the wrong side of the bed today ?
14:27 So it's asking are you in a bad mood ?
14:30 It's kind of like , but using this expression is
14:33 a little more fun instead of saying why are you
14:37 in a bad mood ? It's like what happened ?
14:39 Like this is a little more friendly and kind of
14:42 cute . So you can use this if you notice
14:45 someone is in a bad mood , you can say
14:47 , did you wake up on the wrong side of
14:48 the bed today to show you can see the other
14:52 person is unhappy . Is that even english ? Yes
14:56 , it is . It is very much english .
14:58 Okay , I don't see questions . Let's continue .
15:02 Next is get your house in order to get your
15:06 house in order . So in order in order means
15:11 organized like nice , clean tidy . Yeah , so
15:15 to get your house in order , of course we
15:18 can use this to mean like to clean our home
15:22 , we can use it to mean to organize our
15:24 home , but we also use this to mean to
15:27 organize your life . Like maybe you have many tasks
15:31 to do , like you have to pay some bills
15:34 and you have to go to like run some errands
15:37 , whatever you have a few tasks you need to
15:39 do , like usually kind of small tasks , you
15:43 need to take care of these . You can say
15:45 I need to get my house in order or he
15:48 needs to get his house in order . So generally
15:52 we use when we talk about ourselves , like I
15:56 typically don't use this expression to talk about other people's
16:00 lives . I use it to express the things I
16:03 need to take care of . Like I need to
16:05 get my house in order . Haven't taken care of
16:08 these things in a week . So to get your
16:10 house in order means to organize your house and your
16:14 life . Javier can I say I got up with
16:18 the left foot in english ? No , maybe in
16:20 your your language you have that expression , but we
16:23 do not have that expression . I got up with
16:26 the left foot chosen says I woke up on the
16:29 wrong side of the bed today . Oh no .
16:31 So that means you are in a bad mood .
16:33 I hope you're not in a bad mood . I
16:36 met on facebook says most of the time I wake
16:38 up on the wrong side of the bed . Oh
16:40 no . Oh no . Maybe you should have a
16:43 warm cup of coffee or tea in the morning to
16:45 improve your mood . Yeah . Uh yeah , interesting
16:50 . Someone else on facebook says I I wake up
16:52 on the left foot . Is that an expression ?
16:54 What language is that expression from ? We don't have
16:56 that expression in english the left foot expression . I'm
17:00 very curious . Okay um let's go , let's go
17:04 to the next one . The next one is an
17:06 interesting one to go out on a limb . To
17:09 go out on a limb . This word is lim
17:12 , what is a limb please ? Okay limb .
17:15 Imagine a tree . So a tree has branches ,
17:19 right ? The word we use to talk about a
17:22 tree's branches or is lim a limb . So when
17:28 we say we go out on a limb , imagine
17:32 crawling out on a tree branch , dangerous , right
17:35 ? You might fall off you you might make a
17:38 mistake . This expression to go out on a limb
17:43 means to say something that might not be true ,
17:47 you're not sure , It might be wrong , it
17:50 might be bad , you're not sure . So you
17:54 use this expression to mean I'm going to say something
17:57 and I'm not sure about it , it might not
18:00 be right , that's what this expression means . So
18:03 we use this when we're like sharing new information ,
18:07 like I'm gonna go out on a limb here is
18:10 a very common expression . I use this , I'm
18:13 gonna go out on a limb here . So that
18:16 here means about this point , I'm gonna go out
18:19 on a limb here and say so , it means
18:23 I'm not sure . But also sometimes people use this
18:27 one sarcastically to me , like they used this before
18:31 , something they're very sure is true , but they
18:34 use it to be funny . Oh , someone said
18:36 what the expression was from , that was from spanish
18:38 . The left foot is spanish expression okay , I
18:41 learned something today , so to go out on a
18:44 limb , so what's a good example of this ?
18:46 Like , I'm gonna go out on a limb here
18:48 and say that that expression was from Vietnamese for example
18:54 , like I'm just I'm it's like I'm putting myself
18:57 in a dangerous situation or an uncertain situation , so
19:01 I know it's not true obviously , but if I
19:04 want to make a guess , I could say this
19:08 , it's not like fake news chiyo , it's not
19:11 really about , it's like when you want to uh
19:14 like something at work , maybe like I'm gonna go
19:17 out on a limb here and guess our project was
19:19 canceled , like or maybe that's not the best expression
19:23 , so it's kind of when we're like , we
19:26 feel like there's some risk in what we are saying
19:29 , like we're not sure about our own uh idea
19:34 , so we use it a little bit more to
19:36 talk about ourselves . Yes . It can mean like
19:39 to take a risk . Exactly . Exactly . Okay
19:42 , very nice . Let's go to the next one
19:45 . This one another super common expression . Something rings
19:49 a bell so it rings a bell or that rings
19:52 a bell . That means it sounds familiar , Sounds
19:56 familiar , something sounds familiar . Like I've heard that
19:59 before . So if someone says , do you know
20:03 , so and so or have you heard of such
20:06 and such thing you might say , hmm , that
20:09 rings a bell . So that's like saying maybe I've
20:12 heard it . I feel like I heard it somewhere
20:15 , but I don't remember . So this is super
20:18 useful when you think maybe I know that thing ,
20:22 maybe I've heard of that , but I'm not sure
20:24 . You can say , oh yeah , that rings
20:27 a bell or it rings a bell . I'm not
20:29 sure though . So that's the feeling you have when
20:33 you use this expression , when you're not sure ,
20:36 but you want to express that you feel some kind
20:39 of connection that rings a bell that rings a bell
20:44 . Uh Australia says , are you going to save
20:46 this live video on Youtube ? Yes , all of
20:48 these videos are saved on Youtube . You can watch
20:50 it at any time . Um Batna says english class
20:54 one on one is ring a bell . So no
20:57 , is there english class one ? Oh one rings
21:01 a bell for me these days , but that means
21:04 english class one on one . Sounds familiar . We
21:07 use sounds familiar when we are , when we hear
21:10 about , we hear the name of something like we
21:13 hear a musical artist or we hear of a movie
21:15 , we hear maybe of a Youtube channel and we
21:18 just want to say , I think I've heard of
21:21 that before . Mhm Okay , onward , let's continue
21:28 . Uh So , it doesn't just mean I know
21:31 that thing , we use it when we're like refreshing
21:34 our memory kind of Okay , on to the next
21:37 one . This one , maybe many of you are
21:40 experiencing these days to burn the candle at both ends
21:45 . To burn the candle at both ends . I
21:48 have a candle . I'm gonna grab it , okay
21:51 , to burn the candle at both ends means first
21:54 of all , to work very hard or to be
21:58 very busy . So what does , what does the
22:00 image here ? So , if you imagine a candle
22:03 , right , I won't show the brand , you
22:04 imagine . You have a candle . Usually you light
22:07 one end of the candle . Yeah . And it
22:10 burns just one direction . When you light the candle
22:14 at both ends . This expression , it's like one
22:18 side is on fire and the other side is on
22:21 fire . So the candle disappears very quickly . So
22:25 , this means you are working very hard and you're
22:28 very , very busy but your energy is going away
22:34 very fast . So this means like you are doing
22:38 too much . So if you know somebody who's working
22:41 really , really hard or their life super fast paced
22:44 or something , you might say he's burning the candle
22:48 at both ends . So it's like , it's too
22:50 much . That person's energy is going away too quickly
22:54 . Like a candle lit on both sides . Okay
23:00 , all right , I don't see other questions .
23:04 Min says I was burning the candle at both ends
23:07 this year . Yeah , I think for a lot
23:09 of people , a lot of us have that experience
23:11 of trying to do many things and using a lot
23:14 of our energy this year , maybe many people ,
23:17 Jazmine says I'm burning the candle at both ends with
23:21 my school . Oh yeah , for sure . Super
23:23 stressful . But good luck . Yeah . Okay ,
23:26 great examples . Everybody . Okay , let's go to
23:29 Oh , that's it . That's it for this one
23:32 . Okay , we'll take a quick break and then
23:34 we'll go to the last group of four . Last
23:36 ones . I hope these are interesting and useful for
23:39 you right now . Okay , um , quick break
23:43 and then we'll continue to the last part of today's
23:46 lesson . If you're just joining , please make sure
23:48 to like and share this video so other people can
23:51 find and join today's lesson . Uh , if you
23:54 missed it , there's free stuff for you . Below
23:56 the video . The pdf . So I'm pointing at
23:59 here , check them out for if you're watching on
24:02 Youtube . Below the video . Above the video .
24:04 If you're watching on facebook , what did I show
24:07 you ? Here are some ? Oh , I showed
24:09 you the cooking one already , fond of cooking one
24:11 . Who this one's good time planning , planning your
24:14 time . We talked about making study schedules last week
24:18 . So this could be a good refresher if you
24:20 joined last week's live lesson . All right , so
24:25 let's go to the last part . I will show
24:28 you uh , today's lesson boards again . You can
24:31 take a picture , get ready , You can take
24:33 a picture now . Uh , this will be the
24:37 last group . Right here , we're going to talk
24:39 about four more expressions you can use hopefully in your
24:44 everyday life . Uh , let's continue . All right
24:48 , so a few more idioms to use around the
24:52 house . Oh CIA says , can we use the
24:54 last expression in whatever tense to burn the candle ?
24:58 Yes , like he burned the candle at both ends
25:01 . Yeah , you could say that in past tense
25:03 . We tend to use it in progressive a lot
25:06 . Like he is burning the candle at both ends
25:09 like right now . Okay , onwards , let's go
25:13 next expression up for grabs up for grabs . This
25:18 is a really fun one . I like this one
25:19 , something that is up for grabs , so we
25:22 do not use this really to talk about people .
25:25 I don't know , maybe if you're really like a
25:27 really aggressive data , I don't know , but usually
25:31 we use this for objects for objects and for opportunities
25:35 , something is up for grabs means something that is
25:40 available for anyone to take . So grab this word
25:45 , grab is a verb to grab something means to
25:48 quickly take something up for grabs . So grabs .
25:53 I know that sounds weird , grab is a verb
25:55 , right ? But this is a set expression up
25:58 for grabs means it's available to take available for anyone
26:02 to take . So you might say about maybe some
26:06 food you made like , oh yeah , I made
26:08 a bunch of food and I brought it to the
26:11 party . It's all up for grabs means anyone can
26:14 take it , it's all up for grabs . Or
26:17 for an opportunity like oh did you hear she's leaving
26:21 her job ? That means it's up for grabs .
26:24 So that means anyone can take it . Yeah ,
26:27 this is a really fun expression . I like this
26:29 one . It's up for grabs . Okay , alright
26:34 , carrying on this next one . This one kind
26:38 of similar to burning the candle at both ends to
26:43 have irons in the fire , to have irons in
26:47 the fire . This is a comment again , a
26:50 common expression with an interesting image . So iron iron
26:56 means like metal . So imagine imagine you're making a
27:00 sword . Yeah , imagine you're making a sword in
27:04 order to make a sword . We use metal ,
27:06 we put it in fire to prepare it . Yeah
27:10 , we have to prepare it to make it for
27:13 the making process , We are getting it hot in
27:16 order to make something . So this expression to have
27:20 irons in the fire , I might say I have
27:23 irons in the fire means to be working on something
27:28 or making progress on something to be working on something
27:33 or making progress on something . So it's like you
27:37 are in the preparing stage for something , you're getting
27:41 something ready to do something . Like making a sword
27:44 in this case to have irons in the fire ,
27:47 or I have lots of irons in the fire means
27:50 I am preparing many different projects . So you might
27:54 hear someone say I have lots of irons in the
27:57 fire right now , which means I'm working on many
28:00 things or I'm preparing about many , that's why .
28:04 Okay , good . Uh two were says we've got
28:10 a bunch of drinks up for grabs in the fridge
28:13 . Good . Nice . Yeah , up for grabs
28:15 . Good , good , good . Okay , sounds
28:17 nice . Uh Someone said , oh Javier says there
28:21 are some flowers up for grabs on the way that
28:23 could work . Just make sure when you use up
28:26 for grabs . It means like it's okay to take
28:31 that thing like this . This is not about like
28:33 stealing stealing things , just make sure to use it
28:37 when it's clear , like it's okay to take that
28:40 thing , or it's ok to try to get something
28:43 . Okay . All right , I have irons in
28:49 the fire uh to my homework . Uh Good point
28:53 . So irons in the fire , we don't use
28:56 for everyday tasks actually to have irons in the fire
29:01 is something we use for like upcoming projects or like
29:06 an upcoming idea . So if you , for example
29:11 , are thinking of starting , you're thinking of starting
29:14 a business or you're thinking of starting new project and
29:18 you just started preparing , You just started uh like
29:21 sending emails or you just started building your team .
29:25 That's a situation . We would say you have irons
29:29 in the fire . So it's like behind the scenes
29:33 , we don't use this for everyday tasks . Really
29:37 ? Okay . All right , let's continue . Yeah
29:41 , irons in the fire can be a little bit
29:43 confusing . I would recommend like uh try a quick
29:47 google search to see the kinds of situations that people
29:51 use this in for a little bit more explanation .
29:55 Okay . Mm Okay , let's continue to the next
30:00 one . Under wraps . Under wraps . So something
30:03 that is under wraps is secret . Something that is
30:06 secret . So imagine this expression wraps maybe you know
30:10 , wrapping paper like presence Yeah under something that is
30:14 under wraps is under like you can imagine wrapping paper
30:19 that means it's secret . So we use this for
30:23 plans . Like the upcoming budget changes are under wraps
30:27 for example or that project is under wraps . All
30:31 of that is secret . So if you hear under
30:35 wraps and don't forget this ? S when you use
30:37 this , it means that something is secret . Something
30:41 is secret . Okay . Oh Virginia has a great
30:44 example on facebook . She says I have many irons
30:47 in the fire . So I'll be burning a candle
30:50 at both ends soon . I would say I'll be
30:52 burning a candle at both ends very soon . Maybe
30:55 in the future . Nice example of Virginia . Great
30:57 work . Um Jose says does the up for grab
31:02 expression also apply when you go somewhere and have candies
31:06 available to be taken . Yes , that's fine .
31:08 You can say , hey , all that candy is
31:09 up for grab . You can , you can grab
31:12 that stuff . So the key there is that it's
31:15 clear there's a clear opportunity to take those things .
31:18 That's the idea . All right , let's go to
31:23 the last one . Oh my gosh ! Oh my
31:24 gosh , I'm late . I have to go to
31:25 the last one . So the last one , I
31:27 chose this one for the last expression . Call it
31:30 a day . Call it a day to call it
31:33 a day means to decide the day is done to
31:36 decide you're finished . Call it a day . Like
31:39 today is finished here . We use this at the
31:42 end of the day , like at work , maybe
31:44 at school , you can use it at home too
31:47 , after cleaning or after making dinner whatever you are
31:51 finished for the day . You want to decide you're
31:54 done . You say usually let's call it a day
31:58 . You can use this in command form to call
32:01 it a day . You had a long day today
32:04 . So this means finished to be finished with the
32:06 day . So we could say this , I guess
32:09 . We wouldn't really say this for like the live
32:11 lesson . We would say in this case call it
32:14 good or call it done . Let's call it done
32:16 . So let's say it's finished . We can use
32:20 that if it's not the end of the day ,
32:24 you all right ? That was a lot . So
32:27 I'll finish there for now . I'll show you one
32:29 more time . Today's lesson board so that you can
32:31 take a picture here you are . If you want
32:35 to take a screenshot . This is our list of
32:38 idioms for around the house we talked about today .
32:41 So I hope that you found something that was useful
32:45 for you . I hope that you picked up a
32:47 few idioms that you can use in your everyday life
32:50 around your house , with your family , your roommates
32:53 , co workers , whatever . Um , I'm looking
32:58 for your questions . I don't see other questions specific
33:02 questions . Okay , so we'll finish there . So
33:04 I won't say I'll call it a day because today
33:08 is depending on where you are , there's different time
33:11 zones , Right ? So I'll say I'll call it
33:13 good , we'll call it good there . So that
33:15 means call it finished . I'm going to say this
33:18 is finished . Call it them . But next week
33:21 , of course , we'll be back next week .
33:23 Uh , here is next week's lesson information . Next

34:14 like a minute left . Uh , yes , Everybody
34:17 saying , let's call it a day . Good .
34:19 This is a good situation to use that . If
34:21 it's not the end of the day , as I
34:23 said , use call it good or call it then
34:27 . Uh , do you have instagram ? Yes .
34:28 Check the Youtube description . Um , Maria says to
34:34 have irons in the fire . Could that mean irons
34:36 like ideas in your mind ? Yeah . You could
34:39 say that . We usually use irons in the fire
34:42 for action for things were actually making progress on ,
34:45 not just for ideas . Okay , All right .
34:48 I think that's it . So let's finish their thanks
34:52 everybody for liking and sharing the video . Thanks very
34:54 much for your great questions . And you're awesome .
