BRONX DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES COUNCIL FAMILY SUPPORT CONFERENCE 2014 “CHANGES IN SERVICES AND THE IMPACT ON FAMILIES”.The Bronx Developmental Disabilities Council is an association of parents, advocates, consumers and professionals concerned with the needs of people with developmental disabilities who reside in the Bronx.Recent changes in terminology and service provision are confusing. The panel will present an overview of the new service system and the direct impact on people with developmental disabilities and their families. It is crucial that we are knowledgeable of the changes and the effect on individuals with developmental disabilities.
