In this session, the presenter will highlight the Indiana Teacher Appraisal and Support System (INTASS) teacher evaluation process, provide evaluation information from implementation, and discuss the importance of a defined intention for improving teacher evaluation systems. Participants will learn how districts use the INTASS planning rubric for plan development and implementation; how educator survey data influence evaluation plans; how to use evaluation data to support teachers in professional development (PD); how to analyze observation data to provide individual, school, and district PD; how evaluators use feedback training in PD for teachers; and how to use collaboration, planning, and discourse during the evaluation process.
