14:38	it doesn't make the sound . It actually makes a
14:41	sound that sounds like Z xylophone , xylophone , but
14:46	it does start with letter X . Sometimes X makes
14:50	that special sound as well . Are you ready to
14:53	make a xylophone ? Here we go . And now
14:58	it's time to make our Zyla phones . Are you
15:01	ready ? Okay , so this is what our xylophone
15:04	is going to look like and remember it's an instrument
15:07	and we use special sticks to actually play the music
15:12	. And these are the sticks . You see these
15:14	two red long rectangles . Those are the sticks and
15:17	this is a part of the silent phone . So
15:20	let me show you exactly what you need . Okay
15:22	, so first thing you'll need a piece of paper
15:26	, whatever color you like , I'm going to use
15:28	a white sheet here and then you'll need two rectangles
15:33	. Large rectangles . Okay to large rectangles . You'll
15:36	need to skinny ones and remember you can use any
15:40	colors you have and then you'll need four rectangles ,
15:44	different sizes , they're slightly different sizes . A small
15:48	one and then media and then a large one and
15:56	then an extra large rectangle . Okay and of course
16:00	you'll need scissors to cut out your pieces scissors .
16:04	Okay And someone can help you at home if you
16:06	need help . And some glue . Now my friends
16:09	, you can use any kind of paper , you
16:11	have whatever you have at home so that you can
16:14	try and make your xylophone . Let's get started .
16:17	So I'm going to start with my glue . And
16:20	all my pieces are put here . Let's start with
16:23	these two pieces . This is going to be the
16:26	face of the xylophone , that's the main part under
16:29	here . Okay , and so I need to open
16:32	up my glue . I'm using a glue stick today
16:35	. I like to use glue sticks , they're a
16:36	little easier . And so one of my rectangles goes
16:40	this way and one goes the other way . So
16:42	you just put some glue at the top of the
16:44	rectangle , put some in the middle and then a
16:47	little bit at the bottom and then you can go
16:50	ahead and put it on . And I'm going to
16:53	point it towards the top , like this cap cap
16:56	cap . Okay , and the same thing for the
16:58	other piece , the little blue at the top ,
17:01	a little glue in the middle and a little glue
17:04	at the bottom and put it on the other side
17:07	. So I'll put it right here pointing towards the
17:10	top , tap , tap , tap . Okay ,
17:13	and now we're ready to add those plates . Okay
17:16	, I call these rectangles , the plates of the
17:18	xylophone . We'll start with the smallest one . It's
17:21	going to go at the top . Ok , so
17:23	my smallest rectangle , put some glue on the back
17:28	. All right , and then you just put it
17:31	across , right on top of the black rectangles or
17:34	whatever color you're using . Okay . And then we
17:36	just keep on going down . So I'm going to
17:38	use the next one . The medium size little blue
17:42	at the top at the bottom . Or you can
17:44	actually say a little glue on the side in a
17:47	little glue on the other side . Then go ahead
17:49	and put it across right under my blue oops ,
17:53	hold on , let's do that again , right under
17:56	my blue tap tap tap . Okay , and then
17:59	keep on going . So what's the next size due
18:03	to the pink 1 ? Let's see . I want
18:06	to use the light pink side . So a little
18:09	glue here and a little glue on this side and
18:13	then put it across , tap , tap tap and
18:17	then one more , I'll do . My yellow ,
18:20	yellow is last little glue on this side , a
18:22	little blue on the other side and place it at
18:25	the bottom and tap , tap , tap . And
18:28	now we need sticks to play outside a phone and
18:31	look at those sticks I added down there , I'm
18:33	going to do the same thing for this one .
18:35	So I have one long one here and I have
18:38	another right here . Now , the sticks , you
18:41	can take the sticks and make your letter X if
18:44	you want , you can make a letter X just
18:46	like this and you can place it right there .
