This video shows us how to use the quadratic formula to find the roots of a quadratic equation when those roots are complex numbers. Apply the quadratic formula as you have before, but be very careful when simplifying the radical part of the formula. And, as always, double check that you calculated the number under the square root (called the discriminant) correctly! Most mistakes with the quadratic formula happen under the square root!
