Presenters will briefly explain how today’s iGen population of students differs from students of the not-so-distant past and jump right into sharing digital strategies to help kindle your students’ love for reading and writing. Participants will get to explore reading/writing applications of several familiar and unfamiliar tools such as Plickers, the InsertLearning Extension, Google Tour Builder, Poll Everywhere, and more. Participants will leave with a virtual toolbox of easily adaptable strategies and ideas to apply them to literature and writing units.
