Finding Common Ground: Digging Deeper into the Common Core Standards

THE CENTER FOR PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION OF TEACHERS PRESENTS. The goal for each workshop will be for teachers to deepen their understanding of the standards and walk away with multiple, practical strategies for classroom practice.

Customized for grade levels K-5 and 6-12, each workshop will include a presentation and discussion of a particular literacy standard as it relates to each grade band, an analysis of the strengths and struggles in implementing the standard, and 3-4 practical strategies that teachers can contextualize for their classrooms.
