As a parent, I am a proponent of the SBAC compared to the dreadful traditional standardized testing but I won’t go into that. I purchased this after growing frustrated with going from website to website to website looking for free test prep and test taking strategies. Well, you get what you pay for. I wish I’d discovered this prep guide sooner. It thoroughly compiled the material I needed for my son and seemed to focus on the vocabulary literacy that I was hoping for. The length and structure of the passages used for explication and comprehension are identical to the ones on the actual SBAC so I know when he takes the test there will be no curve balls for him to deal with. This is a must if you are serious about preparing your child for the SBAC.
