About the webinar

Math instruction is evolving and tapping the power of technology and visualization tools can support middle and high school students’ grasp of math operations, practices and increasingly complex concepts. In this edWebinar, Kim Gardner, a middle-grade math educator and technology champion, and Justin Backeberg, a high school math educator, will both share their approaches to rapidly changing instructional models and share some of the new technology tools and resources they’re adopting.

From using digital whiteboards for blended and remote learning to creating video-based learning resources to help students master efficient ways to solve problems, Kim and Justin will introduce you to the practical, creative techniques they’re using to keep students on track with curriculum scope and sequence in a variety of learning environments. Many of the approaches these tech-savvy educators will present can be readily adapted by teachers in all STEM content areas to keep students engaged. edWebinar attendees will have the opportunity to see working lesson examples along with samples of the multimedia resources these educators have created for their own students.
