About the IES Annual Principal Investigators Meeting
The 2020 Annual Principal Investigators Meeting is being held in Washington Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, DC. The theme for this year is Closing the Gaps for All Learners. The main objective of IES’S is to improve access to education and education outcomes. IES is committed to broadening participation in education research. This would be an excellent platform for future researchers to broaden the perspectives of those working to improve education outcomes and to increase the diversity of researchers.
The Co-Chairs for this year’s PI meeting are Nikki Edgecombe (Teachers College, Columbia University), Venessa Keesler (Michigan Department of Education), and Carl Sumi (SRI International).
The goal for the PI meeting is to provide opportunities for professional development and to foster discussion and networking among PIs, Co-PIs, and training fellows of IES.
