[8.G.1b-1.0] Angle Transformations - Common Core Standard

By Freckle by Renaissance

Determine that rotated, reflected and translated angles are congruent to the original figure Front Row is a free, adaptive, Common Core aligned math program for teachers and students in kindergarten through eighth grade. Front Row allows students to practice math at their own pace - learning advanced concepts when they're ready and receiving remediation when they struggle. Front Row provides teachers with access to a detailed data dashboard and weekly email reports that show which standards are causing students difficulty, what small groups can be formed for interventions, and how their students are progressing in math.

By Freckle education

Recognize a line of symmetry for a two-dimensional figure as a line across the figure such that the figure can be folded along the line into matching parts.

Why Google, Microsoft, and Apple Are Fighting For Classrooms

By Lumos Learning

Google, Microsoft and Apple are battling for dominance in classrooms. They all want their devices in the hands of the next generation of consumers. The U.S. education-tech market is expected to hit $43 billion this year, with much of the growth coming in K-12 education, according to a study by Technavio. Apple used to have the most devices in U.S. schools, but Google soared to the top after the release of the Chromebook in 2011. In 2018, Chromebooks made up 60 percent of all laptops and tablets purchased for U.S. K-12 classrooms, up from just 5 percent in 2012. Microsoft is second at 22 percent, followed by Apple, with 18 percent of shipments to U.S. schools in 2018, according to data from Futuresource Consulting.
