eSpark Learning: Using Evidence to Make Conclusions Instructional Video (6.RI.1)
This video presents an article about Hurricane Sandy as an example to demonstrate how to find and cite evidence from texts of information. The instructor reads aloud the first paragraph of an article, and then draws conclusions he has inferred from the evidence. Students are asked to read another paragraph silently on their own. Annotations of the text underline the evidence in the paragraphs.
