  • You may take notes, create a web, or do other prewriting work. Then, write your story on a sheet of paper.
  • After you complete writing your composition, read whatever you have written. Make sure that your writing is the best it can be.
  • After writing your answer click on the appropriate radio button.

Writing Situation:

At any time of the day it is difficult not to find violence on television. Violence is portrayed as a normal part of people's lives. This is very disturbing. Cartoons, sitcoms and especially prime time dramas are filled with violence.

Writing Task:

Write a letter to the local television station about the negative effects of violence and discuss possible solutions within your letter. Use examples to support your positions.
