Writing Situation: You went to spend a day at the beach recently. You were very disappointed to see how much the beach was polluted. People were leaving their garbage everywhere. There were half eaten food, empty bottles, cans and plastic bags all over the place. You decided that you would do something about this mess.

Writing Task: Write an article to the local newspaper about the disappointing mess on the beach. In your article be sure to describe the situation and explain why it is important to keep public places clean and also discuss how the public could help in keeping these places clean.
