GO BACK

“Dad and I need to go out of town this weekend,” said Mom. “We’ll be back on Monday, so the three of you are going to spend the weekend with your two aunts. “
Lindsay, Scarlet, and Austin loved their aunts and were really excited. They ran upstairs and started getting their things together to take with them. They put everything in one bag that they would need for school. They were going to stay with Aunt Margaret for two nights and the last night with their Auntie Josephine.
At the end of the school day, the children came running out of classroom doors from all different directions. Aunt Margaret was waiting for her nieces and nephew at the entrance of the school. She was wearing a bright red suit with a sparkly cat pin on it. She also had on a proper wool hat to match. She noticed a scuff on her shoes when her nieces and nephew ran up to her.
She cried, “Oh, my goodness! I am so happy you are here. The children at your school are just a bunch of hooligans. I was nearly trampled while I was standing here! Let’s get into the car.” Aunt Margaret pointed to a large, green, four-door station wagon that was parked in the lot.
