Conjunctions are words used to join 2 simple sentences into 1 compound sentence. Example: 2 simple sentences- John likes baseball. He is the pitcher on the team. Joined: John likes baseball and he is the pitcher on the team. Remember to change the capital letter in the second sentence to lower case when you add the word “and”.
