Cycling Tours of Brooklyn

Brooklyn is an exciting borough of New York City and offers much to see and do. Visitors can enjoy many different shops and restaurants, as well as parks, museums, and outside festivals. A great way to visit Brooklyn is by bicycle and “Get up and Ride,” a cycling tour company, offers two different options.

The Classic Tour

Distance – 10 miles

Duration – 3 to 3.5 hours

Stops include – Greenpoint, Brooklyn Heights, and the Brooklyn Navy Yard

Food and Drink – Stop in the Dekalb Marketplace

Special features – Cyclists end the day with a ferry ride to Manhattan

The Best of Brooklyn Tour

Distance – 15 miles

Duration - 5 hours

Stops – All of the stops on the classic tour, plus Clinton Hill and Fort Green

Food and Drink – Stop in Dekalb Marketplace

Special Features – Cyclists end with a ferry ride to Manhattan

Cost - $95

The tours can accommodate groups of up to eight people. Bicycles and safety equipment are provided. Tours run Tuesday through Saturday and leave from Brooklyn Heights.
