Pollution hurts the world around us. It upsets the balance of nature, which is very important for our survival. The problems in the environment affect in four areas. The areas affected are the soil, water, air and sound. Large amounts of trash from factories and houses can cause land pollution. Chemicals used in farming pollute the soil. Waste in water makes it unhealthy and harmful. Plants and animals in the water are harmed because of the tons of oil that is spilled into the seas and oceans. The air that we breathe is dirtied by smoke and dust in the atmosphere. Lung illnesses can occur when the air is polluted. Noise pollution in cities has grown intensely. Pollution has become a serious and invasive problem around the globe.
