There are eight named planets in our solar system. The planets all are positioned at different distances from the sun. The farther a planet is away from the sun the colder the climate. The closer to the sun a planet is the warmer the climate. Mercury is the closest and Neptune is the farthest from the sun. Additionally, the placement of a planet is to the sun also effects the amount of sunlight that planet receives. The closer planets receive more sunlight than those planets father away from the sun.

From the passage and the illustration, what can you infer about the difference in the amount of sunlight Neptune receives as opposed to Jupiter?
