In the trapezoid ABCD, AB || DC, AE is perpendicular to DC, AB = 6 cm., DC = 10 cm. and AE = 7 cm. John calculated the areas of two triangles ABC and ADC and then added to find the area of trapezoid ABCD. He found that area of the two triangles ABC and ADC are 21 sq. cm. And 30 sq. cm. respectively and hence the area of trapezoid as 51 sq. cm. Jose used the area of the trapezoid formula and he found the area to be 112 sq. cm. Who is correct?
