Rose Rivers was born poor. Her family loved each other very much, but they didn't have much of anything. Rose Rivers was very appreciative of everything she had. When she was seven, she went with her father and walked around the Staples Center before the Los Angeles Lakers played the Boston Celtics. The atmosphere of the fans on the street excited her.
