Nasheema S. Dixon is a single mother and writer based in the heart of Queens, NY. Writing poetry has been a passion of hers since her adolescent years. After becoming a mother, Dixon decided that she wanted to try writing for others. This journey began when she became a student at Laguardia Community College. At LAGCC, Dixon focused on improving her writing, graduating with an Associate of Arts in Creative Writing.
