EdSearch (version 1.4) now allows you to create custom resource kit for your classrooms

Lumos EdSearch ™ is a tool designed to empower teachers, students, and parents in the discovery of educational resources that support student learning. EdSearch is extremely user-friendly and allows users to find resources from all over the web with great ease. Users can access thousands of relevant resources such as videos, apps, practice questions and much more through EdSearch.

Lumos Learning today announced the launch of version 1.4 of EdSearch. The new version personalizes the results based on a number of factors including the type of user, grade level, state.

Commenting on the launch, Mukunda Krishnaswamy, CTO and Founder of Lumos Learning, said,”The enhancements in this release of EdSearch matches the needs of a teacher or a student more precisely to attributes of learning resources in our database. This will make it very easy for our users to discover exciting learning resources that support their learning objectives.”

The filters by Grade, User Type (Parent/Teacher/Student), State which has been provided on the search page ensures that the results get filtered by these needs before being displayed to the users. This ensures that the user is able to view the most relevant results for the search.



A widget for popular searches has been added to help educators discover popular educational search stuffs.



The most recent searches widget allows users to also view the resources that have been recently accessed by users.
