OVERVIEW
Mediation competitions give us a peek into the realm of Alternate Dispute Resolution and provide opportunities to learn important skills, grow our network, and become well-rounded professionals. While there are many programs that can train you for the real world, there isn’t anything tailored to the requirements of competitions. Swini Khara and Vivek Krishnaswamy, two seasoned participants in National and International mediation competitions, have created this workshop to fill this gap.
With the help of Lumos Learning's platform, Swini and Vivek will teach you how to read problems, strategize, and effectively execute those strategies during a competition.
OBJECTIVES
Using sample problems, take-home exercises, practice rounds and other activities, this week-long workshop aims
► To familiarise participants with the process & structure of Mediation Competitions.
► To provide students with a hands-on learning experience that increases their chances of performing well at such competitions.
► To help students better their communication skills using Lumos Learning’s technology
► To give students an opportunity to network with like-minded peers and professionals.
