    Climate Change

Regional temperatures are changing with the climate. This change in certain areas of the country makes it hard for plants and animals to live. Animals may need to relocate to places that have the temperatures they are used to living in. This move can be difficult for them.

This change may cause some species to move father north where the weather is cooler or farther south where the weather is warmer. Many kinds of animals migrate each year and more are doing so with the climate changes.

With the changes in climate, there may be different places in which plants can still grow in certain areas. The land and water are also affected. Researchers use data to help them understand these changes. Reports, charts, graphs, and daily monitoring of land is detailed in the information gathered.

Currents in the oceans have impact on the climate changes, too. The speed and direction of the water moving on the ocean floor is being studied to help add more information.

Scientists hope this research will help them understand more about climate change.
