    BBQ Pit

This is a picture of a Barbeque (BBQ) pit. It is used for cooking many kinds of meat. Some kinds are beef, chicken, turkey, and pork.

They come in different sizes. This one is a large one. Some people use them for cooking during holidays, cook-off contests, big parties, and at restaurants. It can hold a huge amount of meat.

The pit is made of metal. It is a homemade pit. Homemade pits are made by people at their houses. They do not come from a store and are not made in a factory.

It is placed on a trailer, so it can be moved around on wheels. This BBQ pit is too heavy to try to move without it being on a trailer.

It has an oven, a temperature gauge, a fire box and a smokestack. It also has a wood rack outside of the pit to place things on such as pans, and cooking utensils. The oven holds the meat on a rack. The temperature gauge shows how hot the oven is cooking. The fire box is where the wood is put and lit to make the heat in the oven. The smokestack is for the smoke to go out while it is cooking.

BBQ pits are very useful to many people.
