RME is committed to providing an annual Research-to-Practice conference generously funded by The Meadows Foundation that partners educators, researchers, and mathematicians with a collaborative focus on improving the mathematics education landscape in North Texas. They are committed to providing a day of professional development at no cost for educators. In 2015, we will focus on deconstructing the mathematical process standards, how they interact with the revised TEKS, and how we can provide effective implementation strategies to support teachers through this transition.
