This year’s workshop would include speakers Lina Gosden from Big Brain Resources, Inc. Who would present interactive e-books and their applications in Libraries. Lina Founder and Managing Partner of Big Brain Resources, representing numerous publishers including Marshall Cavendish, Enslow, Capstone, Infobase and ABC-CLIO.

Our afternoon session would be conduct by Nicole Van Allen, Community Relations Manger for Barnes and Noble, who would give a presentation of marketing and book display strategies for school and public libraries. Nicole will also discuss the current trends in popular books for children, teen and this would be followed by “best books” sharing from our HCLA members.
We would conduct our own drawing for Hunterdon County’s Enthusiastic Reader winners, one from each grade. Our SGO committee would present the committee’s findings on accepted SGO’s for school libraries at the elementary, middle school and high school grade levels.

We would follow up with grade level articulation.
