Appalachia from an Assets Perspective Conference: Student Growth Outcomes

Gail Chinn has organized Appalachia from an Assets Perspective Conference: Student Growth Outcomes. The Appalachia from an Assets Perspective Conference is a two-day event held to provide an opportunity for educators and community stakeholders to explore issues of importance to the region with particular attention paid to the strengths of its people and organizations.

This year, they are especially pleased with the program that includes researchers and authors in the field of teacher effectiveness, the Chancellor of the University System of Ohio, well known professionals in the field of education, and, of course, presentations from our own outstanding regional education professionals.

Presentations will be offered on such topics as classroom strategies to attain growth for all students, differentiation in mathematics classrooms, using technology to support student growth, ODE’s Gifted Indicator: Tips on gifted student growth, motivating exceptional learners, and many more!
