Annual Education Innovation Summit – Arkansas Department Of Education

The Annual Education Innovation Summit and the Arkansas Department Of Education have arranged Education Innovation.

  • Focus:These sessions mainly focus on some educator roles like teachers, leaders, teacher preparation faculty, and policymakers.

  • Johnny Key, Commissioner of Education
    Presenting ADE Strategic Planning and Vision
  • Michael B. Horn, Co-founder and distinguished fellow of Clayton Christensen Institute for Disruptive Innovation.
    Presenting Using Disruptive Innovation to Improve Schools
  • Buddy Berry, Superintendent of Eminence Independent School District and Founder of Framework of Innovation for Reinventing Education (F.I.R.E) are participating.



    • Get engaged in discussions about purpose, strategies, barriers, successes, and lessons learned.
    These 40 sessions help you in gain knowledge of resources, supportive structures, and routines that enable these innovations to work and also these sessions will address:

  • Supportive school culture
  • Transformation or change process
  • Specific learning strategies, assessment, and grading implications
  • Routines and administrative structures: set up of the classroom environment, scheduling implications, class or school routines, classroom management
  • Stakeholder involvement, parents, business/industry partners, community members, etc.
