Fifth grade math - Equivalent decimals

To find the decimal equivalents (or equivalent decimals) of fractions, multiply the numerators and the denominators by same numbers so that denominators are multiples of 10. Then write the numerators putting the decimal in the correct spot (count one digit in the numerator from the right for every zero in the denominator). For example, 3/4 = (3*25)/(4*25) = 75/100 = 0.75. Learn to write an equivalent decimal by practicting problems from equivalent decimals worksheets and other resources available on this page.
